Jung Freeman, the owner of Jung Studio in Atlanta, Georgia, is a Vidal Sassoon-trained Master cosmetologist who founded her business in 2004 to provide one-on-one services. She has become a well-known figure in her community, with a salon tucked away in the North Buckhead neighborhood. Even clients from distant areas travel to be styled by Jung. Passionate about all hair types, she can create any style her clients desire.
Her haircutting technique is distinctive in this industry. By cutting hair to match each head’s shape, it falls naturally and complements the face shape. She exclusively uses scissors instead of razors. She performs precise haircuts for men, women, and children.
Her approach focuses on shape. Hair is cut to fit the individual’s head shape, ensuring it falls correctly, flatters the face, and grows out with better control. She works with scissors, not razors, and is known for her precise haircutting for clients of all ages and a wide variety of hair textures.

Jung's exceptional love for hair runs deep in her veins. Born in South Korea and raised in Germany, she embraced the world of hair at a young age. Her journey started at a well-known DDOS school, where she sharpened her skills and built the foundation for her future successes.
To gain more expertise, Jung began an inspiring chapter by enrolling at the prestigious Vidal Sassoon Academy in Santa Monica in 1997. As a proud graduate, she chose Atlanta for her apprenticeship, showing her dedication to perfecting her craft.
From the moment Jung entered the industry, her talent propelled her to the top amongst her peers. At just 24, she bravely opened her first salon in the lively neighborhood of Collier Hills. Over 19 remarkable years, Jung's fame and skills kept growing, leading her to establish a permanent business in the thriving community of North Buckhead.
It is in this peaceful setting that Jung finally found the perfect balance between her career achievements and personal life. Surrounded by the love and support of her family, children, and pets, she continues to bring her creative and innovative approach to the world of hair.
